“The book shifts repeatedly from present to past so we see Gwen and Max’s relationship develop in both time frames. The writing is good although a bit slow in the beginning. The dialogue is funny, particularly in the present. Supporting characters are hilarious. However, this is not an easy book to read. Parts of the story are very angst-filled and I found myself hating one or other of the leads at certain points. But the payoff is wonderful and definitely worth the emotional journey.” ~ Jamie, Amazon Review
